Members Beware: Recent Identity Theft Attempts

We have received several calls from our members reporting bogus telephone calls. The callers have been claiming to be a representatives from either Summit Hampton Roads Federal Credit Union or from the Credit Union Service Center, and asks for your account or card number and/or PIN number.

Remember: We will never call you or email you requesting your personal information-WE ALREADY HAVE IT! And the ONLY PERSON who should know your PIN is YOU! We will NEVER ask for your PIN.

If we call you, and you are unsure about the origin of the call - HANG UP!
Call us yourself to ensure you are speaking with a Summit Hampton Roads Federal
Credit Union representative.

Never give out your personal account information to anyone who calls you or sends you an email, especially if they promise you some kind of reward or reimbursement. If for some reason you think your account information has been compromised, please report it to us immediately so we can take action.
